Veterinary Assistant
Brooke
I joined Yokayo Veterinary Center in July 2013. My love and passion for working with animals started when I was very young. Originally from upstate New York, I attended SUNY Canton College of Technology where I earned an Associate’s Degree in Veterinary Science. I also earned my Veterinary Technician’s license for New York State.
My sense of adventure led me to move to Colorado. I lived in the Rocky Mountain state for 12 years. Working as a veterinary at Louisville-Veterinary Clinic, I had a wonderful time increasing my knowledge and care of animals.
I moved to Northern California in August 2012. I lived in the coastal town of Point Arena for a year and worked at the Historic Point Arena Lighthouse as well as the Gualala Veterinary Clinic as a Veterinary Assistant. I enjoy spending time at the ocean, exploring beaches, hiking, camping, photography, and, of course, working with animals.
